Winding path
Had the dog out for a walk tonight just as the sun was getting low in the sky. This trail is close to home so a frequent place I end up. It’s usually pretty quiet and links up with some mountain bike trails.

New route view
After exploring the new short trail the other day which has this old rail bridge I figured it would be nice to incorporate it into a running route.
Think I made a decent 5K one that I’ve ran the past couple days. This was a view from that trail today.

Sunrise drive
Our youngest was wide awake early today and seemed to have lots of energy. With others still sleeping he and I decided to head out for a drive to the shore to watch the sunrise.
We’ve done this before but the last time it was much warmer out. This mornings temperature was right around the freezing mark.
Even being tired though. This is a pretty decent way to start the day.

Tunnel
We went apple picking today and off the path to the orchard was this tunnel. It had a young maple tree in front of it in great fall colours.

Web browsing
As I was coming back into the house this morning I caught a glimpse of someone’s hard overnight work. It’s another wet overcast day so far but that helped highlight web.

Gloomy river run
Kind of a gloomy overcast day so back to the black and white as it seems fitting.
It was misty but not yet raining while out for a run. Stopped very briefly to get this picture near a bend in the river.

Good boy
Went for a walk with my friend tonight down the trail. Had him stop and pose for me after a bit of the energy was spent.

Autumn reflections
Just slightly off the route home after school drop off there is this beautiful spot.
We often walk along the river as there an old trail that follows it. Especially in autumn the colours make it a stunning walk.

Frosty field sunrise
It was a chilly morning walk with our dog this morning. We went down a trail we don’t take very often and at one point you can exit into this field. It was covered in frost, but I doubt it will last long with the sun coming up.

Fallen tree reflection
Took a nice autumn walk on a river trail with family and friends today. The trees are starting to turn colours and the temperature getting crisp. I’ve been posting mostly black and white photos, but with these fall colours that’s probably going to change.
The reflection here with this fallen tree over a part of the river and the way the sun was shining through to the water caught my attention.
