Peony bloomed
Yesterday was a sunny, hot, and humid, day. It seems like it was just what our peony needed to open up. I love these peonies, they came from my great, maybe even great great, Grandmother. They were in my Grandmothers gardens, then my Mothers, and now in my front yard.

Tree in the sunset
Out for an evening walk I really enjoy this tree with the colourful sky from the sunset in the background.

Daisy
Everything was still a bit wet from the rain the night before. There were a few patches of daisy’s on our walk and in one spot this one was all by itself.

Hall’s Harbour
We went for a bit of a walk along the shores in Hall’s Harbour yesterday. This is home to some of the highest tides in the world, and it’s always an enjoyable walk. My youngest likes exploring the “caves” in the cliffs. None of them go in very far but little indents into the side…

Busy bee
Yesterday we went to visit the Historic Gardens in Annapolis Royal. It’s our second time there this year and I’m sure we’ll be back more. Each visit the garden is a bit different and worth seeing. This visit the Rhododendrons were in full bloom and the bees were loving it.

Spiral up the tower

There haven’t been any trains that run on these tracks for many years. Most of the tracks have been ripped up or buried and made into a trail system.
