    We were away for a basketball tournament this weekend and on a break went to grab some lunch in Bear River. I hadn’t been there in sometime but it is a pretty little place even in winter. This is a picture of a restaurant built on the river, literally.

    We had a weekend full of snow and wind. Everything was canceled Saturday, Sunday, and even school today. This afternoon ended up a bit nicer so me and the youngest were able to get out and play for a bit. He made a great snow angel.

    Out for a walk with friends yesterday. We stopped at a little frozen pond. Usually during warmer weather my youngest loves throwing rocks in the water here. Instead today we were throwing snowballs at each other.

    My youngest and I went for a little walk for a bit to see the new art / sign that was installed in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. It looks out over the dykes toward Blomidon and seems like a nice addition to the area.
