Lily pads
Today our plans didn’t quite work out as we hoped, but we still had a fun day. We explored a bit of Fredrick Maryland. Part of it we walked along Carol Creek Park downtown which is really nice. I’d never seen so many lily pads growing together like this before.

Peony bloomed
Yesterday was a sunny, hot, and humid, day. It seems like it was just what our peony needed to open up. I love these peonies, they came from my great, maybe even great great, Grandmother. They were in my Grandmothers gardens, then my Mothers, and now in my front yard.
