Snowy frozen pond
Out for a walk with friends yesterday. We stopped at a little frozen pond. Usually during warmer weather my youngest loves throwing rocks in the water here. Instead today we were throwing snowballs at each other.

Wintery lunch time walk
We’ve had a bit of snow already but this was our first real snowfall. Had to get the snowblower out and everything which is never fun. The day after though when the roads are clear and the sun is out, the snow is hanging on the trees, that can be very beautiful.

Willow over pond
Yesterday we took a bit of a tour of a friends property to see their art and gardens. It was all beautiful and I’m looking forward to go back later in the season to see how things change. I’ve always liked weeping willows and the two next to the pond here were really nice.

Cattails
This pond is just a short distance from home just off a trail, but on private property. The water level is pretty low but it still nice. This isn’t the best picture but it’s the best one I got today. There is just this small patch of cattails at one end and live always liked…
